Trumpism in a Post Truth World
We live in a post-truth world. By all objective measures Trump is a pathological liar — an inveterate sociopath of the 1st order. There is no doubt about this. And his greatest detractors are not Democrats or “left-leaning newspapers.” Whatever that means. Listen to the original comments by Ted Cruz, David Frumm, Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, Bill Kristol. Hardly left-leaning. The list is endless.
This man is a pathological liar. He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth
If anyone has seen the movie ‘Back to the Future II’, the screenwriter says that he based the character Biff Tannen on Donald Trump, the caricature of a braggadocious, arrogant buffoon who builds giant casinos with giant pictures of him everywhere he looks …We are looking, potentially, at the Biff Tannen presidency.
— Ted Cruz
Trump’s entire life has been one scam after another. Without having to directly admit guilt, just the week, he lost a $25 million suit. Trump University was a scam. There is no other explanation. These people have been made whole. Guilty of massive fraud President Elect.
Trump’s entire business life is one singular failure after another. His original mentor was Roy Cohn. Another infamous character. Enabling Richard Nixon and Joseph McCarthy.
The people that he is appointing and nominating to surround him are some of the most frightful and unstable people imaginable. Again you only need to validate through Colin Powell commenting on Lt. General Michael Flynn as National Security Advisor. Again, not left-leaning papers. There are no left-leaning papers. More like Dr. Strangelove cum Brig Gen Jack D. Ripper.
He said war was too important to be left to the generals. When he said that, 50 years ago, he might have been right. But today, war is too important to be left to politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination for strategic thought. I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
— Brig Gen Jack D. Ripper
This is truly a frightening situation. Everyone will be affected. The possibility of trade wars. The possibility of massive internecine wars that could be avoided by better diplomacy rather than bellicosity.
Claiming your qualification for the most important position in the world as “I am not a politician” is not a qualification. Maybe other major corporate CEOs can claim their greatest attribute is zero knowledge of the business. There are occasionally instances such as John Scully entering Apple as a marketing genius without tech knowledge with some success. But in the end, he wasn’t successful. Jobs needed to come back. Stevie Wonder said it best and most sardonically.
Would you want me driving you to the hospital in an emergency?
— Stevie Wonder
There was a time when Gary Hart, a presdential hopeful, was photographed with a good looking woman. Sitting on his lap. That was enough to disqualify a candidate. With Trump we have a series of despicable epithets and insults hurled at Blacks, women, Muslims, Mexicans, disabled people, and Gold Star families. Starting with his initial scam — the birther movement. You never see him smile. It’s alway a frown or a near growl. Keep entertaining. me …
Please read about Steve Bannon in Bloomberg.com. Rightly labeled as “the most dangerous politcal operative in America.” He is calling the shots. He’s a flamethrower and an anarchist. His goal is to destroy the system. His fist target is the Republican Party elite. The problem is, he is extremely intelligent and capable of carrying out these malicious deeds. He is a cross between Zelig and Rasputin. He is Trump’s brain. His strategic advisor.
This man is the most dangerous political Operative in America

Ted Cruz had it right. And then caved. A sycophant. Mitt Romney had it right. Also a sycophant. Lindsay Graham had it right. These are indisputable facts. You can say this doesn’t affect me. But eventually it will affect everyone. This will not end well. Of this I am certain.
